Big North Lodge Enjoy the beauty of a wilderness setting with all the comforts of home at Big North Lodge in Minaki, Ontario. At Big North Lodge you will find a cedar main lodge and 6 cottages all situated along the shoreline to allow a beautiful view of the water. Our camp, with a maximum capacity of 30 guests, is small enough to be considered your own private fishing lodge, but has the advantages of personalized service and hospitality offered by your hosts. Enjoy the beauty of a wilderness setting with all the comforts of home. Fully modern cottages, comfortably furnished, can accommodate 2 to 6 people and as many as 10 to 12 in our large 4 bedroom cottage. All have propane or electric heat, electricity, hot and cold running water, private bathroom with basin, shower, tubs and flush toilet. |

Blyth's Canyon Lake Lodge The lake is approximately 15 miles long and from it's narrowest point of 100 yards to 2 miles wide, with depths ranging from a few feet in some of the shallow weedy bays to 100 feet at the deepest point which accounts for little or no fish kill due to extreme weather conditions-hot or cold. For the fishing enthusiast there are weed beds, miles of rocky shoreline with scattered fallen trees, rock structure in abundance throughout the lake, providing the ultimate in Muskie, Bass and Walleye fishing. Our cabins range from 1 to 3 bedrooms all with modern bathrooms complete with showers. Carpeted bedrooms, bed linens, pillows and blankets. All kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, full size electric ranges, full size refrigerators with freezers, electric toasters and coffee pot. Weber grill by each cabin for cook-outs. We operate on full hydro power. All cabins are positioned for a nice view of the lake. When it comes to hunting Black Bear, Northwestern Ontario is the place to be and our area is among the best. We have a high population of bear here and your chances could not be better. Our area has a good moose population and we offer a few different packages to try to accommodate the needs of most hunters. |

Camp Waterfall Rushing River / Blindfold Lake, Kenora. This "little piece of heaven" started as a fishing camp in the late 1930's. decades to its current state. It is now a fully modern housekeeping resort which can provide a superb fishing experience for the serious fisherman, as well as all of the amenities necessary for a fun-filled vacation. The extensive pool above the falls has a gently sloping, natural sand bottom which provides a wading area for children. No other resort can provide the feeling of peace and seclusion that is produced by our waterfall. The crystal clear waters of Rushing River run through the middle of the camp. The deep pool below the falls is an ideal setting for the regulation Olympic one meter diving board and 20 foot slide. Adventurous guests will hang in the natural whirlpool at the base of the falls. |
